I've recently been developing a range called 'Intricate Series', I've been exploring detail on a minute scale, all created one handed using a variety of hand building methods.
My inspiration has came from looking in the tiny details you find within nature.

I'm so happy with how this short vase came out, the high shine, high fire rich brown glaze is just a wonderful glaze, smooth and glossy to touch and sits softly in your hand.
This is one of my favourite glazes that I create. I love a crackle glaze but the colour is just wow (its my favourite colour so I'm biased). The glaze sits so well on the clay body and highlights the tiny details pooling over the piece.
