Run by award winning ceramicist Katherine Fortnum, with over
10 years experience working in clay.
During the workshop you will create a fabulous floral decorated bowl from scratch in clay; it will be 100% unique, designed, hand built, and decorated by you. You will be shown a variety of sculpting and decoration methods to help your creative juices flow. You will create a bowl and then sculpt roses, delicate flower petals, leaves, add bumble bees or even a butterfly, to adorn your bowl. It’s your design. You will create your bowl, add decoration and colour within the workshop, and then I will dry and fire your ceramic piece.
