Sgraffito is such a relaxing process
So what is Sgraffito you ask!? Well it is carving designs into clay, you can carve straight into the clay to create relief, but if you apply colour first you will carve through the colour to reveal the clay underneath.
You can do so many things with it!
- single colour & carve
- two or more colours & carve
- colour, then colour picture on top & carve
- add 3D areas on your clay, add colour & carve
- carve, add colour & carve again
- carve, add 3D, colour & carve
