UPDATE The surgery went well, not quite keyhole in the end. I'm still here and in a lot of pain, and have a few more scars to add to the rest! Recovery time will be longer than a couple of weeks as first expected, I'm awaiting full details.
I'm feeling really rough so it's unlikely I'll be replying to messages emails etc soon like I initially expected, apologies, bare with me.
